We do not sell you. We do not run ads.

The short version. ShareWeaver does not show ads. We do not sell, rent, trade, or broker your name, email, phone, photos, listings, location, or messages to marketers, data brokers, social networks, or “partners” for their advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not let a third party put a tracking pixel on this product for their own ads.

What we collect

Account: email and, when you add it, phone and display name.
Listings you create: title, condition, age, price or trade ask, category, and the photo you snap or upload.
Messages you send inside the app about a listing.
Technical scraps needed to run the site: IP address, browser type, and coarse time of a request — to stop abuse and keep the Worker up.

Photos are meant to live on your device when we can. We keep listing metadata on our database so other members can find the item. If a copy of a photo must sit on our servers for the feed or for AI, it is only for that purpose.

What we never do

No advertisements on ShareWeaver. Not ours, not anyone else’s.
No sale of personal information as that term is used in CCPA / CPRA.
No sharing of your listings, photos, or contact details with a third party so they can market to you.
No selling a “lookalike” audience built from our users.
No selling your messages.

Who must touch data so the product works

A promise of “nobody else ever sees a byte” would be a lie. These processors run the pipes. They are not given your data to resell or to advertise:

Cloudflare — hosts the site, the API, and the database.
Google Gemini — sees a compressed photo and the condition/age you typed, only when you ask for an AI name and value. We do not grant Google a right to use that photo in their ads.
Payment processor (when packs or fees go live, likely Stripe) — card or bank details go to them, not into our database.

If you use ShareWeaver Fill to paste a listing into Facebook, Craigslist, OfferUp, or Nextdoor, that is you publishing on those sites. Their rules apply there. The extension does not take those passwords.

Legal and safety exceptions

We will disclose an account or a listing if we are required by a valid legal process, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to stop child sexual abuse material, fraud, a credible threat of harm, or a TOS violation we are actively removing. That is not marketing. We do not use that door to “share with partners.”

Your choices

Delete a listing in the app. We will mark it removed from the public feed.
Ask us to delete your account and listing metadata. We will do it except for records we must keep for fraud, taxes, or a live dispute.
Do not snap a photo you are not willing to send through AI analysis.

Children

ShareWeaver is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. Sexual content and any image of a minor in a sexual context is banned and removed.

Changes

If we ever add ads or a data-sharing deal — we do not plan to — this page will change first, and the new rule will not apply to data we already promised to keep off the market without a clear new consent. The current rule is the one above.
