The idea for ShareWeaver came to me during a lucid dream meditation. I saw the future: a world run by superintelligence, far beyond what today’s AI can do. Superintelligent bots had replaced most human jobs. Criminals were using those bots to defraud people, businesses and even government officials.
I asked whether there was anything today’s AI could do that would benefit humanity in that future. The idea for this app is what I was shown.
Create a community of ID-verified humans, each with a trust badge they can use whenever they buy or sell anything online, or post on social media. A place where you can send anyone who tries to meet you over the phone or online, so they prove they’re human before you waste your time getting to know a bot controlled by a fraudster.
Then let members snap an AI photo of the things they no longer use or need: the stuff collecting dust in the garage or, worse, sitting in a storage unit that drains their bank account every month. Those things go into their “Have” list, a Virtual Storage Unit kept on ShareWeaver. Next they make a “Want” list of things they’d happily trade for. The AI agent built into the app will search for members to pair up, even in three-way trades, and let each of them know. A live video call lets them check the condition of the items. All of it between members with a verified trust badge.
The AI takeover is well underway, so I decided to invest my own money in this project. I formed an LLC in Wyoming. All funds go to a business checking account that pays for the business. We even have our own D-U-N-S number! An ID verification service and a payment processor hold the sensitive information, the ID photos and card numbers, so ShareWeaver doesn’t.
Phase one is getting people signed up for the free ID Verified Human trust badge. Trust badges exist for businesses and websites. This one is for people.
The AI behind this app costs money to run, and something has to keep ShareWeaver from losing money. There are three sources:
Those are the only ways ShareWeaver LLC makes money, and hopefully they keep us from ever having to turn to ads. AI seems to think that will never be necessary. I feel it’s right.
Word of mouth. We will encourage members to get their church, civic groups, teams and businesses to join the community. Free, organic growth keeps the service ad-free and free to join. There is a real need for this service, and it only takes people telling people. If the members of a church all sign up, our AI agent can match one member’s junk with what their friends want. Call it junk matchmaking: one man’s junk becomes his neighbor’s treasure.
People who already sell online. Sellers on other marketplaces can join and use the AI photo analysis, which fills out their ad and lets them post it in other places with little effort. That’s another good thing AI does: it saves us time, and time is money!
Online shop owners. People who already run an online business can use our Shop area to sell their returned items at a discount.
The biggest thing that will make this app grow is the AI-dominated future coming our way. Deepfakes are only going to get better. A scammer anywhere in the world can already look and sound like someone else on a video call. As AI keeps improving and eventually becomes superintelligence, scammers will be able to send out an army of AI bots to befriend and seduce victims, mostly lonely older people, into relationships that end with their bank accounts cleaned out.
